"I always tell the truth. Even when I lie."
- Al Pacino
Chicago is a city that I have benefitted from and contributed to as an actor from its scrappy storefronts (I am an ensemble member of A Red Orchid Theatre since 1993) to the larger and nationally known Equity houses (Steppenwolf and Goodman among others).
I built my acting foundation through the study of Improvisation at Second City, iO and years at the Piven Theater Workshop and got a crash course in contemporary Commedia Del' Arte with The New Criminals throughout the 90's. Shakespeare was never far away with stops at the National Shakespeare Summer Training Conservatory in NY and the internationally recognized Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
New York taught me how to keep the work honest with Viewpoints, sketch work on late night tv (Conan) , and original premieres with the Water Theatre Company.
With a prospering voiceover life in commercial and audiobook work, I also continue to seek and secure film and television opportunities.
Be sure to check out my demo reel and voiceover work on this site.
I pride myself on approaching all my acting work with the same elements that have defined the mission of my theater company: honesty, compassion and rigor.
